World renowned pianist, Michèle
Scharapan, has toured the US, Africa and Europe. A senior teacher
at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Lyon, Michèle
has very kindly offered to donate the proceedings of her concert performance
towards our cancer project. We would like to express our sincere gratitude
to her for this generous gift of support. Andre Menache will be
present at the event to provide a brief overview of the project.
The concert will take place at the Théâtre du Conservatoire National
Supérieur d'Art Dramatique de Paris, "one of the most unique and best
appointed of music halls in all of Paris!" according to Michèle Scharapan
: 2bis rue du Conservatoire - 75009 Paris ; métro Grands Boulevards.
The program will include, the Trio in Si b major D.898 and the Trio
in Mi b major D.929 by Franz Schubert.

animal tests. Three examples were put forward : the Monocyte Activation
Test (MAT) for replacement of pyrogenicity tests conducted on rabbits;
non animal methods for the production of monoclonal antibodies; the
replacement of foetal calf serum with synthetic media.
